i deactivate nested panels in the survey creator tool solution i have and it has been working great. We have discovered a small bug that can be fixed on your side. When disabling nested panels using maxNestedPanels: 0, it's possible to insert a panel inside a panel by drag and dropping the panel element from the side of the panel. Please checking the following content i recorded from a demo example.

I discussed this with our developers. It appears that the fix required extensive refactoring. As a result, we didn't apply the fix in v1. The issue is fixed in v2.0.1: View Release Notes. We recommend that you upgrade to v2.0.
