In the Survey Editor we wan to modify the textarea field to add a button "translate" to automatically translate the text from english to specific language. Is there a way to achieve that?

Hello,
We have it out of the box.
You need to use creator.onMachineTranslate event. We don't translate one by one string. We show a modal dialog where you can translate all untranslated strings.

Just a follow up question, it looks like there's a maximum selected languages, I can't select more than 7. Are there ways to increase it?

Hello Mhar,
You can change it as the following:

JavaScript
{ settings } from "survey-creator-core";

settings.translation.maximumSelectedLocales = 8;

Thank you, so I've been testing this thoroughly and find a weird behavior, so the bug happened after I translated the strings and hit cancel instead of apply. When you click the translate again it says no strings to translate. Can you help me fix it or its a expected behavior?

I created a separate ticket on your behalf: T16774: Translation Tab - The No Strings To Translate message appears after the auto-translation has been cancelled. We placed it in our processing queue and will process it shortly.
