Question T5126
Visible to All Users

PDF Formatting

created 5 years ago

Hello Support,

Please see the following plunker :

https://plnkr.co/edit/ykryqzQcWfg8pLod

As you can see, the surveys we use are extensive, and some of our client will want a printed copy. Technically the surveytopdf is working great, but we are trying to improve the pdf layout

1 I have experimented with you previous suggestion of using a different font, which has already made a big difference. ( not included in the plunker example.).
it would be nice to have a similar option as Survey.StylesManager.applyTheme("default") for surveytopdf to make surveypdf use the same fonts.

2 it would be great to be able to include a page break char ( as a hidden expression, that I can make visible during export to PDF) to control pagination of the pdf

3 Radio groups are spread over the entire line, it would be nice to left align them

4 Matrix dropdowns are spread over the entire line, and the spacing/size of the individual columns is very different from the survey as displayed online.

5 Can you please show me an example of an adorner to reformat the date to European ( dd/mm/yyyy) format.

Regards and thanks for your help.

Leo Visser
