is there a good solution for pdf when the answer is too long for ck editor / comment?

Hello

when the answer is too long for comment question or ck editor questions, the pdf rendering will have issue that not showing all the answers.

comment type questions. if answer is too long, because the whole answer is consider as a brick. and a brick can not exist in two different pages. it ended up trying to fit in 1 single page with parts of the answer chopped off.

for ck editor answers rendered as image. it's pretty much the same thing. 1 image cannot exist in 2 pages, and parts of the answer got chopped off.

I'd like to know if there is a good way to handle these kind of situation.

Hello,

At the current moment we recommend replace long comments with HTML question via SurveyJS API or SurveyPDF Adornerns mechanism
If you are render CK Editor HTML as image then I can suggest split HTML parts to several HTML questions before export to PDF

Hello,

Size of comment in your live sample is not long. I've expanded its size to three pages and export to PDF works much less then 11 seconds for me. Is this example spends more time for you? Or what size of your comment?

(example exported with last commit version of SurveyPDF)

yea. it's really funny.

it seems like this super long pdf generation time only happens on my machine.

no worry about for it. I will see what I can do with it.
